Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
Reorder is a small, invite-only email client built and operated by one person as a personal project — not a company or a commercial product. It lets an invited user connect their own Gmail account(s) to read, organize, and send email through a single manually-ordered inbox. By creating an account or connecting a Gmail account, you agree to the terms below.
Access to Reorder requires an invite code from its operator. Having the invite code does not transfer or sublicense access — it is meant for the specific people the operator shared it with. The operator may revoke any account's access at any time, for any reason, without notice.
Reorder connects to Gmail via Google's OAuth with your explicit consent. Once connected, it can read, archive, label, send, and delete (move to Trash) email on behalf of the connected account, and mirrors message content into Reorder's own database so it can display and organize it without re-fetching from Gmail on every view. You can disconnect an account at any time from Reorder's settings, which revokes its access via Google.
You're responsible for keeping your Reorder password and any invite code confidential, for the accuracy of the account(s) you connect, and for using Reorder only for your own lawful, personal email management. Don't attempt to access another user's account or data, or use Reorder in a way that could disrupt the service for others.
Reorder is provided “as is” and “as available,” with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. It is actively developed and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time, with or without notice. It is not a replacement for Gmail itself — your email continues to exist in Gmail independent of Reorder.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Reorder is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) Reorder, including but not limited to data loss, missed or delayed email, or unauthorized access to your account, however caused. Reorder is offered at no cost as a personal project, without the guarantees a commercial service might provide.
These terms may be updated from time to time as Reorder changes. Continued use of Reorder after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Reorder connects to Gmail via Google's OAuth and Gmail API with your explicit consent. It reads, archives, labels, sends, and deletes (moves to Trash) email on behalf of the account(s) you connect.
Email content and metadata (sender, recipients, subject, body, labels, dates) are stored in a private database solely to display and organize them inside Reorder — for example, to support a custom manual ordering of the inbox and to show message content without re-fetching it from Gmail on every view. Your Gmail OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Each user's data is isolated from every other user's — no user can see another user's mail or account settings. Your data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
Data is retained for as long as the connected Gmail account remains linked to Reorder. Disconnecting an account removes Reorder's access via Google and its locally stored copy of that account's mail. You can request full deletion of your Reorder account and all associated data at any time by contacting the operator.
Questions about these terms or this policy, or data deletion requests, can be sent to the operator via the email address that provided your invite.
